Forest bathing + stunning highland views! 

Starting from the "Donguri Panorama Viewpoint," follow the forest trail upward, strolling leisurely along the lush, green paths. Along the way, enjoy the cool, refreshing forest air, admire the vibrant summer alpine flowers, and finally arrive at the Hakuba Iwatake summit viewing platform, where you'll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Northern Alps. No admission fee—it's open to all for free. Perfect for families, couples, or solo hikers looking to experience the healing power of nature.

Donguri Panorama Viewpoint

The "Donguri Panorama Viewpoint" is located within the "Donguri Village" villa area in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. It's a hidden scenic spot offering breathtaking panoramic views. Perched at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, the viewpoint provides a sweeping vista of the Northern Alps, including iconic peaks like the Hakuba Sanzan, Mt. Karasawa, and Mt. Goryu.

Route Features

🌿 Forest Bathing Experience
The trail starts at the "Donguri Panorama Viewpoint", where you’ll be surrounded by lush forests and gardens. Take a leisurely stroll along the primitive forest paths and feel the refreshing atmosphere of nature.

🌸 Seasonal Flower Bloom
In summer, the Hakuba Iwatake area is filled with highland plants and wildflowers. Depending on the season, you can see unique alpine blossoms.

After reaching the summit viewing platform, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of Hakuba’s Three Mountains and the grandeur of Japan’s Northern Alps. It’s a perfect photo spot!
